Introduction
A photo trek to Turkey. Almost didn't make the trip at all, because leaving Houston a couple of days before Hurricane Rita struck was quite a feat. Miraculously found a cabbie who got me to the airport in spite of the 1+ million people trying to evacuate ... towards the airport! Then waited in a security line that snaked around & outside the terminal since 300 TSA workers were evacuating instead of working. I was the last person on the Turkish Air flight, so they put me in the last remaining seat - in first class!
